On day 8 (Saturday Sept 3rd) I was able to hold her for the first time! She got cold though so we need to be really careful.
On Tuesday Mike held her for the first time. He calms her and she snuggled right on him and fell asleep.
Tuesday they also moved her out of room one into room two. She graduated! Mike and I about had a heart attack when walking into room one and seeing an empty bed. I quickly realized she was moved and the fear turned to excitement and happiness. Tuesday was a big day and I was so nervous knowing that she was having a brain scan and echo done. Tuesday night we got the results and she looks great! I cried out of relief.
She started to get tired again and look pale on Thursday and they found out she was anemic and gave her a blood transfusion. She looked much better after the transfusion and her breathing improved.
